HEADS UP

The current Wish List contest runs through Thursday, then beginning Friday, July 1, I'm going to do something a little different.  For the first week of July, I'm joining a linked contest.  Over two hundred blogs are offering book related prizes.  After you enter my contest, you can jump over and enter as many of the other contests as you like.  I'll post instructions Thursday evening or Friday morning.  Until then the June Wish List is still open so get those comments in.

This has been a busy weekend.  Since the weather around here has suddenly changed from snow to sun, I spent Friday and Saturday working in my gardens.  I love flowers and pretty gardens, but I also enjoy the opportunity gardening gives me to think, work out plot problems, and go over in my mind the current review I am working on.  Since this is more of a heads up than a blog, I'm attaching pictures of my garden so you can see what I've been doing.

And one more.  My zuchinni is in bloom!

I love it!! This is the first year I've managed not to kill off all of my flowers! I love the time I have to weed and think. Of course, my bed is a teeny one, but it's a source of a lot of joy. :)

My Dad used to have big beautiful gardens when I was growing up. I miss that living in AZ. Our growing season is already ending. The good news, for the 1st time we got 3 cucumbers, the bad news, it will be around 115 tomorrow and nothing else is likely to grow.
You have pretty flowers.

What beautiful flowers! We are constantly chasing away deer from our roses. The sad thing is.. they are used to humans and take their time leaving.

Your garden is beautiful! Here in Idaho I had to replace three rose bushes this year, as they died during the winter. As a convert to the church, I decided recently to start doing Personal Progress exercises, and one of the projects for faith, has to do with planting a garden, basically from start to finish. I am so excited that my 14 tomato plants now have blooms, and that the other plants we put in the garden plot are getting bigger and bigger. Thank you for sharing!
